You can cancel at any time, and nothing disappears the moment you do.
How to cancel
- In the dashboard sidebar, open Billing & invoices.
- Press Manage / cancel in Stripe on the card at the top.
- Cancel the subscription in the Stripe billing portal.
The same portal opens from Settings, then Danger zone, then Open billing portal.
What happens next
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your guidebooks stay live for the rest of the period you have already paid for.
- We email you "Your QuietStay membership has been cancelled".
- When the membership ends, your guidebooks stay live for guests for a further 7 days. The Billing page shows the exact date, and two days before it we email "Your guidebooks pause on that date".
- After those 7 days guests see a paused page instead of your content, and outgoing guest messages stop.
What is kept, and for how long
Everything you wrote — WiFi, entry codes, your recommendations, your branding — is kept for 90 days after your guidebooks pause. Resubscribe inside that window and it all picks up where you left off, with nothing to re-do. After 90 days we may delete it.
Before you go
Open Settings, then Data export, to download your returning guests and your guest notes as CSV files.
Refunds
Membership payments are not refunded for unused time, a forgotten cancellation or unused reply allowances, except where the law gives you a right to one. That is why the free period exists — so you can judge QuietStay before paying.
If you changed your mind
Resubscribe from Billing & invoices — the card says Resubscribe with your price on it. If you cancelled by mistake, reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.
