WiFi is the single most-opened page in a guidebook, so it has its own field in two places.
Add it
- On the editor home screen, click the WiFi field in the blue header and type the network name exactly as it appears on a phone.
- For the password, open Property details and fill in Network name and Password under WiFi.
- Click away from the field. It saves and the toolbar returns to Saved.
Type the name exactly, including capitals and spaces — a guest is matching it against a list on their phone.
What guests get
The network name and password appear pinned at the top of the guest home screen, each with a Copy button, and a QR code they can scan to join without typing anything.
The Network and Password boxes in the standard WiFi section are created as protected details, so a guest may be asked to confirm their booking before they show. That check is set on the Access codes screen in your dashboard.
If you see "Add a WiFi section first"
There is no box for the value to go into. Click Add a section, choose Blank section, rename it WiFi, then add a box called Network and a box called Password. The WiFi fields will write to them from then on.
If the details still do not show for guests
Check the section is not switched off in the Design panel, and that the guidebook is published. If both look right, reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.
