Your guidebook
Sections, WiFi, entry details, house rules — everything a guest reads.
Setting it up
How do I add a new section to my guidebook?
Click Add a section — the last card in the grid, or the button under the Design panel list. Pick an amenity such as Hot tub or Pets to add it already written, or pick Blank section and name it yourself.
How do I reorder, hide or delete a section?
Use Menu — show, hide & reorder in the Design panel on the editor home screen. The arrows move a card, the switch at the end of the row hides it from guests, and the bin deletes it. Deleting a section takes everything in it and cannot be undone.
Where do I set the property name, address and check-in times?
Open Property details from the editor menu. Property name, Check-in & check-out, Property address (map & directions) and Extra details for guests are all on that one page, and each saves when you click away from the field.
How do I add the WiFi name and password?
Type the network name into the WiFi field on the editor home screen, or fill in Network name and Password under WiFi on Property details. Both write to the Network and Password boxes in your WiFi section, and guests get them with a Copy button and a QR code.
Where do I put the door code or lockbox instructions?
Use the Door code field on the editor home screen, or How guests get in (code · lockbox · key) on Property details. Either writes to the Access box in your Check-in section, and guests see it under How to get in.
How do I write my house rules?
Open your House rules section and type each rule on its own row — every row becomes one bubble for guests. Tap the emoji at the start of a row to choose its icon and colour, and drag rows to reorder them.
How do I copy a section to my other properties?
Open the section, click Copy to…, tick the properties and click Copy to selected. On each one, a section with the same title has its contents replaced; if there is no section with that title, it is added.
How it works
What is the difference between a box, text and a heading?
A box is a tappable card the guest opens; text is printed straight onto the page; a heading is a title that groups the cards under it. Switch between box and text with the two buttons under a box's title.
What is the "Finish your guidebook" checklist counting?
It counts eight things: property name, check-in and check-out, WiFi, how guests get in, address and map, cover photo, house rules, and publishing. Each one still missing is a button that jumps you to where it is set, and the whole panel disappears once all eight are done.
Do I need to press Save, and can I undo a change?
No — everything saves as you type, and the toolbar shows Saving… then Saved. Undo steps back through your edits, and a deleted box can be restored for five seconds. Deleting a whole section cannot be undone.
When it goes wrong
"Some changes didn't save" in the editor
That warning means one write to your guidebook failed — usually the connection dropping, or you being a viewer rather than an editor on the account. Stay on the page, click back into the field you last changed, retype it and click away; the toolbar should return to Saved.
"Could not copy — please try again" when copying a section
The copy is refused when the section being copied from cannot be read back — usually because it was renamed or deleted in another tab, or your sign-in lapsed while the editor was open. Reload the editor, open the section again and copy it once more. Nothing is written to the other properties when this happens.
What guests see
What does my guidebook actually look like to a guest?
Guests open a welcome screen with your cover photo, the property name, and check-in, check-out, door code and WiFi pinned underneath. Below that is a search box and your cards, grouped under Arrival, Important, During your stay and Before you go.
