Copying reads the source section first and only then writes to the properties you ticked. If that first read fails, the whole copy stops and no property is changed.
Put it right
- Reload the editor page. This signs you back in if your session had lapsed, and reloads the section list.
- Check the section is still there and still has the title you expect. If you renamed or deleted it in another tab, the old one no longer exists to copy from.
- Open the section, click Copy to…, tick the properties again and click Copy to selected.
- A successful copy answers with a count: Copied "..." to 2 properties.
If it says some failed
A message such as Copied "..." to 3 properties (1 failed) means the ones named as copied are done and the failure was on the remaining property alone. It was left exactly as it was. Open that property, check it still exists and you have editor access to it, then copy again with only that one ticked.
If nothing is ticked
The button stays disabled until at least one property is ticked, so a copy that appears to do nothing usually means no box was ticked.
If it still will not copy
Reply to any email from QuietStay with the property you were copying from and the ones you were copying to, and it reaches a person.
