The Inbox is the other half of every email you send: replies come back into QuietStay instead of scattering across your own mailbox.
How a reply arrives
Emails sent for a property - by hand, or by an automated message - carry a reply address belonging to that property. When the guest replies, the message is filed against that property, quoted history is stripped so you read the actual reply, and you get an email alert and a push notification if you have them switched on. The alert links straight into the Inbox.
Reading and replying
- Open Messages then Inbox. Unread replies are in bold with a green dot, and the heading shows a count, for example "3 new".
- Each row shows who wrote, the subject or first line, the property and the date.
- Open a reply to read it. Opening it marks it read.
- Select Reply, type your answer and select Send reply. You will see "Sent" when it has gone.
Your reply goes out from the same property address, so the guest can reply again and the conversation keeps working.
What the Inbox holds
The 100 most recent replies for the workspace you are in. If you belong to more than one workspace, you see only the one you are working in.
It holds email replies only. Messages a guest sends you inside Airbnb, Booking.com or WhatsApp stay on those platforms - answer those with Messages then Quick replies.
If nothing is arriving
See My inbox says "No guest replies yet" but guests have replied, or reply to any email from QuietStay and a person will check the reply routing on your account.
