Setting it up

How do I send the guidebook to guests who message me on Airbnb?

Messages then Quick replies gives you eight replies written for the property you pick, with its guidebook link and entry-code instructions already in them. Select Copy and paste one into the Airbnb, Booking.com or WhatsApp thread.

Booking sites never hand over a guest's email address, so the fastest honest route is the thread the guest is already in.

Copy a reply

  1. Open Messages then Quick replies.
  2. Choose the tab you are pasting into: Airbnb, or Booking.com, WhatsApp & others.
  3. If you have more than one live property, pick it from the list at the top right.
  4. Pick the moment: Booking confirmed, Before they arrive, Arrival day, Mid-stay check-in, Checkout reminder, Thank you & review, Something's wrong, or Where's the WiFi / code?
  5. Select Copy, or Read to open the full wording first.

Each reply carries that property's live guidebook link and tells the guest how to unlock the entry code the way you have it set up. On the Airbnb tab the greeting uses {guest_first_name}, which is Airbnb's own shortcode and fills the guest's name for you. On the other tab it says "Hi there" - swap in the name if you know it.

Send it to every guest without lifting a finger

On Calendar & bookings there is a card headed "Send the guidebook to every guest - automatically". It holds the same before-arrival wording, with Copy message, and names where each channel keeps its scheduled messages:

Set once, every future guest gets it.

If the screen says "Publish a property first"

Quick replies carry a live guidebook link, so they need a published property. Publish one and come back. If something else is wrong, reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.

Still stuck? Reply to any email from us — it reaches a person, not a form, and we answer every one.
