This is the other half of Extras & requests: the same items, as the guest meets them.
The cards
Each item is a card with its photos, its badge if you set one, and either the price with its unit or the word Free. Information-only items show their words and nothing else — there is nothing to tap.
Everything else is tappable, and the link at the bottom says what will happen: Order for a paid item, Request for one you approve first, Ask your host for a free request, or Let your host know for a free item that needs no approval.
What they fill in
Tapping a card opens a panel with the full description and a short form. Their name, an email and the date they arrive are all required — the leaving date is optional. Paid items also have a quantity, from 1 to 20. The button then reads Order · £45, Request · £45, Send to my host or Let my host know.
A paid order goes to a Stripe payment page. Everything else goes straight to you.
Something else?
Under the items there is a Something else? box — "Ask your host for anything that isn't on the list." They type what they want and it arrives in Guest purchases as a request. Nothing is charged.
Their own list
Once they have ordered, a Your requests list appears at the top of the shop showing where each one stands: waiting for your host, approved with an email to pay, confirmed, paid, done, not available, or refunded.
Seeing it yourself
Press Guest view at the top of Store & upsells. It is only available on a property whose guidebook is published, whose shop is switched on, and which has at least one live item. If it is greyed out, one of those three is missing.
