Two panes decide this. One says whether an alert is sent at all, the other says who receives it.
The account switches
Settings, then Notifications:
- A guest leaves a private note — this one also covers a guest reporting a problem, and a guest registering their stay.
- A guest places a store order.
- Weekly digest every Monday — views, concierge questions, orders.
Each is on unless you switch it off. Switching one off stops it for everyone on the account, phone notifications included. The pane ends with Preferences are saved. Alert emails go to [your address], which is each person's own sign-in address.
Who receives them
Settings, then Team members. Every person in the list has two tick boxes: Shop orders and Guest notes & problems.
Owners and admins are ticked by default; editors and viewers are not. Tick or untick anyone — the person who actually runs your shop is often an editor, and an admin often wants no more email. Only owners and admins can change these boxes; anyone else sees Couldn't save that — only owners and admins can change who gets alerts.
The weekly digest
Sent on Monday morning, UK time, and only when something happened in the week — views, concierge questions, orders or guest notes. A quiet week gets no email. It goes to the owners and admins of the account.
Two settings here are about guests, not you
The same pane holds two automatic guest emails:
- Send guests the guidebook before arrival — a menu offering Off — I'll send them myself, 1, 2 or 3 days, or a week before arrival. It needs a published guidebook, a booking in Calendar and bookings, and an email address matched to that booking.
- Post-stay thank-you & rebook email — sent the day after departure, to guests who agreed to marketing emails, carrying your book-again link.
If an alert never arrives
Check the switch here, then check your own tick box under Team members. If both are on and nothing comes, reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.
