How do I change my name, email address or profile photo?

Open Settings, then Your account. Edit sits beside your name and beside your email address, and Upload photo sets your picture. A new email address only takes effect once you open the confirmation link we send to it.

Your name, photo and email address are yours alone. Changing them affects your login only, not the rest of the team.

Change your name

Open Settings, then Your account.
Select Edit beside Name.
Type your name and select Save. It confirms with Name saved.

Change your profile photo

Select Upload photo and choose an image. It appears in your dashboard so your team can recognise you. Guests never see it.

The image must be a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC or AVIF file, under 5 MB. Anything larger returns That image is over 5 MB — please resize it and try again.

Change your email address

Select Edit beside Email address.
Type the new address and select Save.
We email the new address to confirm the change. The pane says Check your new inbox to confirm the change.

Until you open the link in that email nothing has changed: carry on signing in with your old address. Once it is confirmed, the new address is the one you sign in with, and the one your QuietStay alerts are sent to.

When it will not save

Enter a valid email address. means the address has no @ or no domain after it. Could not save your name — try again. usually means the connection dropped mid-save; try once more.

If it still will not change

Reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.
