The line under a connection carries the last thing your provider said. Last sync failed with a reason in brackets means the pull ran and was turned away; the bookings you already have are untouched.
Reading the reason
The reason names the provider and the status number it returned.
- 401 or 403 — the key is no longer accepted. It has been revoked, rotated, or its permissions have been narrowed. Reconnect with a new key.
- 429 — you have hit your provider's rate limit. It usually clears itself by the next night.
- 500 and above — your provider had a problem. Leave it a night.
Reconnect with a fresh key
- In your PMS, generate a new API key. For Hostaway, note the account ID with it.
- In Settings, then Integrations, press Disconnect beside that provider.
- Choose the provider again, paste the new key and press Connect.
Your property mappings are kept, so the next sync picks up where the last good one left off.
Two other things worth checking
- Calendar links report separately. A warning naming a property is about that property's calendar, not the PMS — see Calendar sync is failing.
- If the connection is healthy but a property brings in nothing, its listing ID is probably not mapped.
If it keeps failing
Reply to any email from QuietStay with the exact text in brackets and the provider name, and a person will read the sync log from our side.
