PMS connections
Hostaway, Lodgify, SortedStay and Nuki — keys, mapping and sync problems.
Setting it up
How do I connect Hostaway, Lodgify or SortedStay?
Open Settings, then Integrations, and find "PMS sync — bookings in automatically". Choose your provider, paste your own API key and press Connect. We check the key against your provider before storing it, and reservations then sync overnight with guest names, emails and phone numbers.
How do I match a property to its PMS listing?
Under the connection in Settings, then Integrations, each published property has a "Listing / property ID" box. Paste the ID your PMS uses for that listing and click away — a tick appears. Reservations for listings that are not mapped are skipped.
How do I set up Nuki keypad codes?
Connect Nuki in Settings, then Integrations, with a token from Nuki Web, then API. Paste each property's Smartlock ID (Nuki Web, your lock, its ID) and every booking that has a guest surname then gets its own six-digit keypad code, valid from the day before arrival until departure.
How it works
What does a PMS connection actually sync, and when?
Overnight, QuietStay refreshes your calendar links first, then pulls reservations from every connected PMS, then cuts smart-lock codes. Reservations arrive as bookings with the guest's surname, and a guest with an email address also becomes a contact, so your before and after messages can reach them.
How do I disconnect a PMS, and what happens to my bookings?
Press Disconnect beside the provider in Settings, then Integrations. The stored key is deleted at once and nothing more is pulled from that provider, but every booking, contact and code already synced stays exactly where it is.
When it goes wrong
"Those credentials were rejected by the PMS"
Your provider refused the key, so nothing was saved. Generate a fresh key in your PMS, paste the whole of it with no spaces at either end, and for Hostaway check the Account ID belongs to the same key.
"Hostaway also needs your Account ID"
Hostaway credentials only work as a pair. Put the account ID in the Account ID box beside the provider list — Hostaway shows it with the key under Settings, then Hostaway API — and press Connect again.
"Couldn't connect — try again" when saving a PMS key
We could not reach your provider to check the key, so nothing was saved. This is almost always their end being slow or briefly down. Wait a minute and press Connect again with the same key.
My PMS connection says "last sync failed"
The overnight pull was refused by your provider, usually because the key has been rotated or revoked. Press Disconnect on that provider in Settings, then Integrations, and connect again with a fresh key. Nothing already synced is lost.
"Smart lock sync is failing" — new guests are not getting keypad codes
The nightly Nuki run is being refused, so recent bookings may have no code on the lock. Check the Smartlock ID for that property in Settings, then Integrations, and reconnect Nuki with a fresh token. Until it works, set each stay's code by hand on Access codes.
