Verification reads the listing page and checks it really is your property. It never passes on the link alone.
What the message is telling you
- "That link isn't an offer2stay property page" — the address must look like
https://www.offer2stay.co.uk/property/…. A search results page or your host dashboard will not do. - "Set your Book-again link … to this same Offer2Stay listing first, then verify" — open the property's editor, set Book again under Guest app to that listing, then come back and verify.
- "This is a different Offer2Stay listing from your Book-again link" — the two point at different properties. The rate only applies to the same one.
- The listing name does not match, or the bedroom count differs — the check compares the listing against the property's name and bedrooms in QuietStay. Correct whichever one is wrong and try again.
- "We couldn't open that listing" / "We couldn't reach that listing" — the page did not load for us. Check it is public and live, then retry.
- "This listing is already verified on another QuietStay account" — we check it by hand and email you.
- "We couldn't read the listing details automatically" — a person checks it within one working day and emails you.
Too many attempts
After 5 attempts in a day you will see "Too many verification attempts today — try again tomorrow or contact us." The count is per account and rolls off after a day.
One thing to watch
Duplicating a property deliberately clears the copy's Offer2Stay link, its verification and its booking link, so a new lodge never inherits another one's rate. Verify each copy on its own listing.
If it still will not pass
Reply to any email from QuietStay with the property name and the listing link. It reaches a person who can verify it by hand.
