What's On is switched on per property from Billing and invoices, under Add-ons. It bills from day one on its own subscription — free months and trials never apply to an add-on.
How it works
- Events come from Ticketmaster and Skiddle: real listings with dates, venues and ticket links, never invented.
- The search covers the month ahead and refreshes automatically every few days. You never press anything.
- The property needs an address, because the search runs from its location.
- Properties close enough together share one search and count as one area, so several cottages in the same place do not each add to the bill.
- If an area goes quiet and drops below 6 events, What's On is switched off there and no longer charged.
Turning it on
- Open Billing and invoices, then the Add-ons card.
- Press Check what's on near this property. This runs the real search before any money moves.
- Each property comes back with how many events the next month holds and up to three examples.
- Press the Add for … properties button to go to checkout.
Once it is live, What's On appears in your sidebar showing what your guests are being shown, and dates with something on also appear on the Calendar and bookings month view.
One subscription per account
There is one What's On subscription per account. If you want it on more properties later, change the one you have rather than buying it twice — a second purchase is refused.
