Collecting guest emails and offering them a direct-booking discount is something some booking sites restrict. QuietStay makes you read that once per property before the feature can go live, and the check is enforced on the server as well as in the screen, so the message can also appear if the acknowledgement did not save.
What the notice says
Some OTAs restrict promoting direct bookings to guests you met through them. Check your platform's terms — you're responsible for how you use this.
Clear it
- Open Returning guests, then Set up the discount, and pick the property.
- At the top you will see an amber panel headed Before you switch this on.
- Read it, then press I understand — continue.
- Press Turn on again.
It is per property, so you will meet it once for each one you switch on.
If pressing "I understand — continue" does nothing
The panel saves against the property, so it needs edit rights. If you are a viewer on this account, or the message changes to one about edit rights, ask an owner or admin on the account to do it. Owners and admins are the only roles that can turn the add-on on or off at all.
If it keeps coming back
Reload the dashboard and try once more — the screen may be holding an old copy of the property's settings. If the notice still reappears after you have accepted it, reply to any email from QuietStay with the property name and we will look at the record on our side.
