The choice sits under How the discount code works on each property's discount setup.
One code for everyone
Everybody who claims the offer gets the same code, for example DIRECT10. It works anywhere you take bookings, including your own site. You will not be able to tell who used it, and it can get shared online.
A different code for each guest
Each guest gets their own, built from your code plus a short suffix — DIRECT10-4KZQ. The suffix avoids characters that are easily misread. The same guest asking twice gets the same code back rather than collecting new ones.
Under Each code lasts you choose 6, 12 or 24 months from the day they claim it, or Never expires.
This mode needs your Offer2Stay listing link, because something has to check the code at booking time. Without it the panel warns you that a per-guest code cannot be applied.
Seeing who used it
Returning guests, then Who took the discount, lists every claim across all your properties, with four totals: Codes claimed, Booked with the code, Tapped through and Opted into your emails.
Each row shows the code (or the word "shared"), when it was claimed, and one of:
- booked — the booking system reported that code as used, with the date and booking reference.
- an arrow and a number — they tapped through to book with the code in hand, that many times.
- not yet — they took the code and have not tapped through.
The booking itself happens on Offer2Stay or your own site, so a tap-through is the closest QuietStay can honestly get on its own. Export CSV gives you the lot.
If a booking is missing from the list
Only a booking system that reports the code back can be marked as booked, so a shared code, or a booking taken by email or phone, will show as "not yet". Reply to any email from QuietStay if a per-guest code was used and never appeared.
