Your guest list is every person who has left you an email address for one of your properties. A guest who booked through Airbnb or Booking.com belongs to them; a guest whose email you hold is one you can invite back yourself.
How people get onto it
- They claim your discount code in the guidebook — they type an email to get the code.
- They leave their email with a private note on the guidebook's Departure page.
- They give an email while registering to unlock their entry code. That box is optional for the guest.
- You add them: Add a guest (name, email, phone, one or several at once) or Import guests (upload a CSV or paste a list — one per line, either just the email or "Name, email"). Duplicates merge into the existing contact.
What consent is actually recorded
Only the guidebook's discount form records consent. Every submission writes two evidence rows — one for your own list, one for the Offer2Stay list — each storing the exact wording the guest was shown, the version of that wording, the time, a hashed IP address and which guidebook it happened on. A box left unticked is recorded just as clearly as a ticked one. Neither box is ever pre-ticked, and neither is a condition of getting the code.
Contacts you add or import by hand carry no consent record. What you may send them is your responsibility.
Working with the list
Search by name or email, filter by a tag, and sort by Newest first, Oldest first or Name A–Z. Rows are grouped by tag, with anything untagged under Untagged. Tags are your own labels — "Christmas", "dog owners", "repeat".
Open a contact to edit the name, add tags, store a phone number, keep private Notes — only you see these, or send them a message. Export CSV exports what the filter is currently showing.
If someone should not be on it
Open the contact and press Delete contact. It asks you to confirm and cannot be undone. If a guest asks you what you hold about them, reply to any email from QuietStay and a person will help you answer.
