Help Guests

How it works

What do the numbers on Guest activity mean?

Views are how many times guests opened your guidebooks, counted once per visit. "What guests open" ranks the sections they actually read in the last 30 days, and the rest of the page mirrors what guests did: emails captured, feedback, upsell requests and questions asked.

Guest activity in the sidebar is one page for everything guests did. The Showing box at the top narrows it to a single property.

Views

Three figures: Total views, This week and Last 30 days. A view is one guest opening a guidebook, counted once per visit rather than once per screen. The view count on each property row in your properties list opens this page too.

What guests open

A ranked bar for each section, by how many times it was opened in the last 30 days, top ten first. Use it to put what guests look for near the top, and to improve or cut whatever nobody opens.

Guest actions

Booking enquiries

Direct "ask about dates" requests from your guidebooks, with the guest's email and phone, their dates and message. Reply by email, then set the status — New, Replied, Booked or Closed — so your team knows where it stands. A booking taken this way is commission you did not pay a booking site.

The two cards at the bottom

Private feedback and Upsell requests are mirrored here so one glance covers everything. The full versions live under Guest notes and your store.

If the numbers look wrong

Views come from guests actually opening the guidebook, so a preview you open yourself from the dashboard is not the same as a guest visit. If a property shows nothing at all and you know guests have used it, reply to any email from QuietStay with the property name.
