Your guidebook invites guests, at the end of their stay, to leave a private note — what they loved, or anything worth your attention. It goes to you and nowhere else.
What a guest fills in
Their name and email are both optional, so a guest can stay anonymous. They can add the dates of their stay, and then write their message. If they leave an email, they are added to your contacts. If they give a name, it is also used to attach them to their booking.
What you see
Guest notes in the sidebar lists everything, newest first, with a property filter and three totals: Guest notes, Problem reports and Added to contacts. Unread rows are highlighted, and the sidebar shows a count.
Click a row to read the whole note, who left it, the property, and their stay dates.
Problem reports come from the "report a problem" link guests see under the concierge, and can include a photo.
Archiving
Open a note and press Archive to take it out of your working list. It stays in your totals, so your numbers do not change, and Restore to list puts it back. When nothing is active but something is archived, the archive opens by itself instead of showing you an empty screen.
Getting told about them
You can have an email the moment anything arrives here. Switch it on under Settings, then Notifications.
If a guest wanted a public review instead
Every guest who leaves a note is shown the same invitation to leave a public review — the happy ones and the unhappy ones alike. That is deliberate. If you need something changed about what a note says, reply to any email from QuietStay.
