The preview is not a mock-up. It is built from the same payload the guest page receives, so your shop, your events and your offer appear in it exactly as a guest would find them.
Open it
- Open the property from your dashboard.
- Select Preview as guest in the toolbar, top right.
Opening it while you are inside a section starts the preview on that section. From the dashboard, the menu on a property row also offers Preview as guest.
Choose the view
Two pairs of buttons run along the top of the preview:
- This page or Whole guidebook — one card, or the guidebook from its welcome screen.
- Laptop or Phone — a wide window, or a phone-width frame. Most guests are on a phone, so check that one before you print anything.
Select Close to go back to editing.
Why this is the only way to see a draft
An unpublished guidebook cannot be opened at its web address by anyone, including you. This preview is how you look at it before publishing.
If you see "Couldn't load your live shop, events or offer"
That red warning across the preview bar means we could not read those three extras just now. The rest of the preview is still accurate — the sections, cover, colours and fonts. Close the preview and open it again. If the warning stays, publish nothing new on the strength of it and reply to any email from QuietStay, quoting the message shown after the dash.
