Publishing does not send anything to anybody. Guests get the guidebook because you hand it to them, in one of four ways.
Copy the link
Open the property's QR poster page — from the dashboard row, or Share QR/link in the editor toolbar. The Share link row holds the address, a Copy link button and Open. On the dashboard, each published property row also shows its /g/... address as a link you can open.
Paste a ready-written message
Go to Messages, then Quick replies. Pick the property and the channel — Airbnb, or Booking.com, WhatsApp & others — and each reply comes written for that channel with this property's live link and the right instruction for how your door code is unlocked. Tap to copy, paste into the thread. Only published properties appear here.
Email it from QuietStay
Messages, then Send a message now. Choose a template and the property; the link appears with a Copy link button. If the property is not published you get "Publish this property to get its live guest link" instead.
Put it on the wall
The QR poster carries the link as a code guests scan. See the article on printing the poster.
Treat the link like a door code
Guidebooks are marked so search engines do not list them, and there is nothing for a guest to sign into. That also means anyone holding the link can open it, and it may hold your WiFi password and door code. Send it to guests, not to a public page.
If a guest says the link does not work
Check the property still shows Live rather than Draft in the editor, and see the article on what a guest sees when a guidebook is not published. Otherwise reply to any email from QuietStay and it reaches a person.
