Settings, then Danger zone, open to owners and admins only. The pane says it plainly: Please export anything you need first — these can't be undone.
What Delete all data removes
Every property and every guidebook on this account, and with them:
- sections and everything written in them, including WiFi and entry details
- store items and every order placed against them
- your returning-guest contacts, guest notes and reported problems
- concierge chat logs, view counts and engagement stats
- bookings in Calendar and bookings, and the entry codes and discount offers tied to them
What it keeps
- Your login and everyone else's. The pane says Your login stays. To have it removed as well, email enquiries@quietstay.co.uk.
- Your team. Members and their roles stay as they were.
- Your subscription. Deleting data does not cancel or refund anything. Cancel separately, in the Cancel subscription part of the same pane, using Open billing portal.
- Your settings. Default branding, notification preferences and your organisation name are untouched.
- Printed QR codes. The code itself survives deletion by design, so a sticker is never made permanently dead. Until we re-point it, anyone scanning it reaches the QuietStay homepage instead of your guidebook. If you delete and rebuild, tell us and we can re-point the printed code at the new guidebook.
Image files you uploaded stay in our storage with nothing linking to them. Ask us if you need those cleared too.
Nothing can be undone
There is no undo, no bin and no backup we can restore from. Download everything you want to keep first — see How do I download my guest list and guest notes?.
How it asks
- Select Delete all data.
- Type your organisation's name into the confirmation box. Capitals and extra spaces are forgiven; the wording is not. A mismatch says Type the organisation name exactly to confirm.
- Select Yes, delete everything in [your organisation].
It confirms Your guidebooks and their data have been deleted.
Gentler options
- One property only — open its menu on the Properties screen and choose Delete property.
- A pause, not a deletion — unpublish a guidebook, or cancel your membership. Cancelling keeps everything for 90 days so you can come back to it.
If you deleted by mistake
Reply to any email from QuietStay immediately. We cannot restore the content, but we can help you rebuild and re-point printed QR codes at the new guidebooks.
